Veterinary Clinical Complex (VCC), Mahal, Amritsar is a multi-specialty clinic for both large and small animals with 24 hrs emergency service. The hospital is conveniently located on Ram Tirath Road, bypass near Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), and is located 2 kms away from the main campus at village Mahal, Ram Tirath Road, Amritsar. The Complex functions as an independent unit and spread over 18 acres of land allotted by Khalsa College Charitable Society (KCCS).
The building houses three fully-equipped clinical departments, viz., Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Surgery & Radiology, and Veterinary Gynaecology and Obstetrics. The building also has two lecture rooms equipped with audio-visual aids and a conference room with adequate facilities. Independent clinics for both small and large animals, X-ray and Ultra-sonography imaging units, operation theatres for small and large animals with CCTV facilities, and an in-house diagnostic laboratory can be availed here. Animal preparation rooms for large, small, and pet animals, physiotherapy unit, drug stores, and waiting hall for the clients/owners are also provided.

Holidays including Sunday: closed except emergency
Medicine section: provide treatment for sick animals suffering from GIT infections including ruminal impaction, colic; chest and liver diseases, peritonitis, kidney and urinary bladder including urinary tract infections; deficiency of vital minerals and vitamins, thalitis, pyrexia, skin and fur diseases. Prophylactic vaccination is also done for the prevention of infectious and communicable diseases. Mastitis testing and its specific treatment facility are also available.
Surgery section: all types of minor and major operation facilities are available i.e. rumenotomy, removal of foreign body impaction from GIT, plastering and pinning/plating in broken bones, removal of mammary tumor, and operation for correcting intestinal obstructions, etc.
Gynecological section: provides cesarean section in large and small animals, treatment for uterine prolapsed, dystocia, cystic ovaries, repeat breeding, and infertility; ovariohysterectomy and artificial insemination in cats and dogs.
Special examination facilities: are available for facilitating diagnosis in animals.
Diagnostic laboratory: VCC has all modern lab diagnostic equipment required for the proper diagnosis of animal diseases.
Indoor facility: the hospital has an indoor facility for sick animals
Hospital charges are as per the Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University Ludhiana (GADVASU).
