The faculty of the department are actively involved in the academic, institutional, and capacity-building activities of the college. Faculty also serves as life members of different professional groups and societies, review committees, student advisory committees, organizing committees of Institutional/National level. The faculty has received notable awards and certificates in conferences, professional bodies, etc.
Facilities Available
Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry Lab has adequate facilities to undertake research on mammalian and avian hematology, climatology, and basic biochemical analysis. The available facilities are Automatic Hematologicalanalyzer, Spectrophotometer, Sphygmomanometer (Digital/LED/Dial), Viscometer, Urinometer, Meteorological instruments (Max and Min thermometer, Wind vane, Lux meter, Sling Pshychrometer, Anemometer, Barometer & Rain gauge), Flame Photometer, Paper Chromatography system, Fume hood, Blood Chemistry semi auto analyzer, Refractometer, Spectrophotometer, Colorimeter, etc. In addition to regular academic activities, the Department of VPB actively participates in Institutional and capacity-building programs.
